As an educator, one of the really tough decisions you make for your students is the literature that you recommend. Many folks just don't know what music to program for electric strings. The good news is that you can program so many styles with electric strings. They are not JUST for imporvising. I have used them for everything from classical literature to jazz to rock and others. Use your imagination and you really can't go wrong. These are some of my favorites.
